Changuel is a community-based traffic, alert and navigation app. It allows users to update real-time information on parking, gear removal, police sightings, road hazards, vehicle state, the risks that can affect vehicle, and more. Changuel offers a service that resolutely aims to help users better use and respect the road, parking spaces and public spaces.
Changuel works thanks to its community. Changuel’s community is made up of any user who uses the application. Each Changuel user voluntarily participates in sharing information useful to the continuity and proper functioning of the Changuel service. The user is required to provide his accurate personal information including but not limited to surname, first name, last name, telephone number, date of birth, profile picture, country, location data, his vehicles license plate number and email address at the time of registering for the Changuel service, his exact or approximate geographical position, the position of the car removal or parking control events he perceives.

Welcome to Changuel. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using the App.
- User Responsibilities
1.1. Location Information: The App request access to your device’s location to provide parking assistance. You acknowledge and agree to provide accurate location information and understand that the accuracy of parking recommendations may vary depending on the available data and your location.
1.2. Vehicle Information: The App allows you to store and manage vehicle information in a virtual garage list. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. The App is not liable for any inaccuracies or consequences arising from the use of this information.
1.3. Message Feature: The App includes a messaging feature to facilitate communication between users. You agree to use this feature responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for the content of your messages and understand that the App may monitor or moderate the messaging service.
- Intellectual Property
2.1. Ownership: All intellectual property rights related to the App, including but not limited to the software, design, logos, and trademarks, are owned by MAKEHITEC. You agree not to modify, distribute, reproduce, or create derivative works based on the App or its content without prior written consent from MAKEHITEC.
2.2. User Content: By using the App, you grant MAKEHITEC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, reproduce, and display any content you submit through the App, including but not limited to vehicle information and messages, for the purpose of operating and improving the App’s features and services.
- Privacy
3.1. Data Collection: The App may collect and process personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
3.2. Security: MAKEHITEC takes reasonable measures to protect user data and maintain the security of the App. However, no system is completely secure, and you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with transmitting personal information through the App.
- Limitation of Liability
4.1. Use at Your Own Risk: The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. MAKEHITEC makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the functionality, reliability, or accuracy of the App.
YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE CHANGUEL APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE CHANGUEL APP AND ITS CONTENTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” AND NEITHER MAKEHITEC NOR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES MAKE ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE CHANGUEL APP. EXCEPT AS MAY BE AGREED IN A SEPARATE WRITTEN AGREEMENT, MAKEHITEC AND ITS AFFILIATES AND PARTNERS MAKE NO WARRANTY AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE CHANGUEL APP AND ANY SERVICES PERFORMED OR PROVIDED BY THE CHANGUEL APP INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND DISCLAIM ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE COMPLETENESS, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, TIMELINESS, SECURITY OR RELIABILITY OF THE CHANGUEL APP, THAT THE CHANGUEL APP WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE AVAILABLE ON AN UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR FREE BASIS OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MAKEHITEC OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES OR ANY OF THEIR OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS AND LICENSORS, BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, MORAL OR OTHER DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOST PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF PROGRAMS OR DATA, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES) WITHOUT REGARD TO THE FORM OF ACTION AND WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE CHANGUEL APP, ANY SERVICES OR THIRD PARTY CONTENT, INCLUDING CONTENT ON OR ACCESSED THROUGH THE CCHANGUEL APP OR ANY APPLICATION, WEBSITE OR DOCUMENT LINKED TO, OR ANY COPYING, DISPLAYING, OR USE THEREOF.
COPYRIGHT
All intellectual property rights in and to the Changuel app, Site, Service and its database, including copyrights, trademarks, industrial designs, patents and trade secrets – are either the exclusive property of MAKEHITEC LLC or its affiliates or are exclusively licensed to Makehitec. The Service is protected, among others, by the French and European Copyright Law, 2023 as well as by applicable copyright provisions prescribed by any other law, in France and elsewhere.
“Changuel”, the Changuel logo, and other trade and/or service marks are the property of MAKEHITEC or its affiliates and you may not use such logos or marks for any purpose that is not expressly authorized in these Terms without the prior written consent of Makehitec.
The design, trade dress, and the Changuel ‘look and feel’ of the maps of the Site and the Service are protected works under applicable copyright laws and Makehitec and its affiliates retain all intellectual property rights in them. The Software license granted to you in these Terms does not extend to or include a license to use the maps displayed on the Software or any mark, indicator, logo or notation embedded in the maps that are displayed on the Software. You may not copy or print more than one copy of any data or material appearing on the Site.
MAKEHITEC may protect the Changuel Service by technological means intended to prevent unauthorized use of the Service. You undertake not to circumvent these means. Without derogating from MAKEHITEC’s rights under these Terms or under any applicable law, you are advised that any attempted or actual infringement of this provision will result in the termination of all your rights under these Terms. If you circumvent any of the means taken by MAKEHITEC to protect the Service from unauthorized use, you must immediately cease any and all use of the Service, and you undertake to do so.
